Little Chateau Tie Dye Project x Star Kids Scholarship Program
Hi everyone! I’m so over the moon excited to finally be putting this post together on the tie-dye project that is going to benefit local families who are in need at this time. I’ll reiterate what I spoke about in my Instagram post on Easter. Various tie-dye pieces are going to be available to you all through Little Chateau and 100% of the profits will be donated entirely in grocery gift cards to families from the Star Kids Scholarship Program. This amazing program began in 2000 to benefit at-risk children in Newport County, Fall River and New Bedford with the hopes of providing primarily educational opportunities to these young souls. My dear friend’s mom is the executive director of this program and so the timing of me wanting to create pieces out of my apartment and help our community at the same time couldn’t have been more serendipitous. This pandemic has taken the lives of so many people; it has turned our world upside down and permanently stamped itself into every future history book. It is also a very challenging time for the families from this program. I would love to provide some relief to these families in our community that could use a sense of security when it comes to buying their groceries next week, and the week after that, and the week following. For those who can, please help me bring this project to a prosperous fruition so that we can donate as much as we possibly can directly to the people around us who NEED US.
With that being said… custom tie-dye biker shorts, cropped sweatshirts, bralettes, sweat-sets are all available now. If all inventory is sold through we could get up to $750 in groceries to families in need around the island!
Let’s spread a little love together during this unthinkable time: you get a cute tie-dye piece to lounge around in, a family gets their groceries. Sounds about right to me.
